NFL power rankings Week 3: Cowboys claim top spot

When talking about the NFL power rankings going into week three, you won’t find teams listed on their record. It’s about identifying the teams who are the best, not the ones with the best record.

The latest power rankings are interesting. There are teams in the top five that you wouldn’t expect, but they have earned their spot.

One thing to note is that teams who are 0-2 might be above teams that are 0-2. That is intentional and two games aren’t going to change the performances of each team.

Going into week three, we know more about each team, but there is still some mystery, especially with multiple 0-2 teams we expected to be ranked in the top 10.
