Rob Gronkowski will not be returning for a 10th season with the New England Patriots after announcing his retirement on Sunday.
The 29-year-old tight end confirmed the news on Instagram, stating it was "time to move forward" after nine years with the Patriots.
Gronkowski, who struggled with injuries throughout his career, won three Super Bowls and made five Pro Bowls during his time with New England.
The tight end finished his career with 521 regular-season catches for 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns.
