NFL player props: Andy Dalton walks the plank in prime time vs. Bucs

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. If you tune into "Monday Night Football" tonight, you may see Andy Dalton get an early start on the gift-giving. The New Orleans Saints quarterback is 0-12 in his last dozen prime-time games on the road. Oddsmakers aren't expecting Dalton to break that streak in Tampa Bay on Monday, where the Saints are +145 on the moneyline to beat the Bucs. Here are three player props on BetMGM I like in tonight's game:

Andy Dalton under 219.5 passing yards (-125)

If you haven't been fading Dalton in prime-time games, it's not too late. The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now. We're slowly creeping towards QB Jameis Winston reclaiming his role under center and there's a non-zero chance it happens during this game if Dalton continues to struggle. New Orleans coach Dennis Allen was open to making the switch after an embarrassing Week 10 road loss to the Steelers. In Dalton's last four starts, the Saints are 1-3 and are averaging just 10.8 points per game. The Red Rifle is 0-3 on the road this year. Tampa Bay has been dealing with injuries in its secondary all season, but it still ranks third in EPA per opponent dropback. New Orleans' offense ranks 27th in EPA per dropback. Dalton has gone under this number in five of nine games.

Jarvis Landry under 39.5 receiving yards (-115)

Landry looked like his old self in Week 1, catching seven of nine targets for 114 yards. Since then, the 30-year-old receiver has averaged 2.7 catches and 24 receiving yards per game, failing to top 37 receiving yards in all six of his outings. The Juice is no longer loose. He's been bottled up while the Saints offense flows through Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara and Taysom Hill.

Cameron Brate under 21.5 receiving yards (-115)

New Orleans allows the third-fewest receiving yards per game to tight ends (32.8). In the six games Brate and fellow Bucs tight end Cade Otton have played together this year, Brate has gone over this number just once. The Saints held Brate to nine yards on one catch in Week 2.
