On Wednesday, the NFL and NFLPA went to MetLife Stadium to investigate the turf once more to make sure everything is up to standard after complaints from the San Francisco 49ers following a week of severe injuries to its team.
And once again, nothing bad was found.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said that the group, which included reps from both the Jets and Giants as well as FieldTurf and an independent field inspector, found that the "field meets all applicable standards and protocols for NFL field surfaces."
Giants head coach Joe Judge said "we've been fine with it," when asked about the turf on Wednesday. They'll be playing the 49ers this week.
The Jets saw WR Breshad Perriman suffer an injury, but nothing like that of San Fran. Nick Bosa and Solomon Thomas both tore their ACL while Jimmy Garoppolo and Raheem Mostert are likely to not play this week from injuries themselves.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said he has “moved on” from it and is focusing on beating the Giants this week. However, he did say that his players had an issue with it, and that includes Arik Armstead who called for the NFL to investigate the turf on Twitter following the game.
