After taking Jeff Okudah with the third overall pick last night, the Lions turned their attention to the offensive side of the ball on Friday night.

With the 35th overall pick, Matt Patricia and company took D'Andre Swift, the running back from the University of Georgia. Swift earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2019 with 1,218 yards and seven touchdowns on 196 carries (6.2 yards per attempt) and 24 catches for 216 yards. He's been known to be injury prone at times while at UGA, but when healthy he's been very effective.

Swift will immediately come in and contribute to a rushing attack that ranked 16th in attempts, 21st in yards, 29th in touchdowns, and 22nd in yards per attempt.
