Here we go with the Single Game NFL DFS slate for Sunday Night Football of Week 13. Today’s matchup is between Chiefs and Broncos with Kansas City checking in as a 10 point home favorite. The over/under currently rests at 47 total points. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:20 ET.

We’ll highlight the top picks and best bargains to assemble a cash-inducing lineup. On top of that, the “additional notes” section will feature several tournament selections while adding context to the rest of this slate.

We will be producing these articles for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday Night Football matchups, so be sure to bookmark the NBC Sports EDGE DFS Page for those occasions - not to mention all the other fantastic daily fantasy content.

TOP PICKS

Patrick Mahomes - QB - Kansas City (DK: $12,400 / FD: $17,000 / Yahoo: $35)

Mahomes has been all over the place from a fantasy perspective lately, running from nine to 36 fantasy points over his last two games. I’m thinking we’ll see his good side in this home divisional matchup with the Broncos. Denver’s season defensive stats look pretty good, but they have allowed opposing quarterbacks to toss at least a pair of touchdowns in each of their last three games. Mahomes is next in line as a substantial home favorite.

Travis Kelce - TE - Kansas City (DK: $10,000 / FD: $13,000 / Yahoo: $27)

Yes, Denver ranks top five in fantasy points allowed to tight ends. Does that really matter? Not so much when considering the Mahomes-Kelce connection is pretty much matchup-proof. Kelce has drawn at least eight targets in six of his last seven games, and he has turned out stable production even despite Mahomes’ recent dips. The last time Kelce faced the Broncos (12/6/20), he went for eight catches and 136 yards with a touchdown on 12 targets.

BEST BARGAINS

Mike Boone - RB - Denver (DK: $200 / FD: $5,000 / Yahoo: $10)

Boone could be an interesting value filler to finish off your lineup. He carries the most merit on DraftKings and FanDuel. Melvin Gordon will not play tonight, which means Javonte Williams will start and Boone will serve as the RB2. Despite that, he’s only $200 on DraftKings, meaning you can stack the rest of your lineup around him. The hope is that Boone will see somewhere around 10 total touches with optimism that he can rip off a big play or find the end-zone.

TOURNAMENT LOOKS

Byron Pringle - WR - Kansas City (DK: $1,800 / FD: $7,500 / Yahoo: $12)

It’s hard to bank on a Kansas City receiver outside of Kelce and Tyreek Hill. However, Pringle is cheap with some semblance of upside. He played 59% of the snaps last week, which is second among KC receivers (only behind Hill). That’s definitely a good sign. Pringle has come through with four or more catches in two of his last four games, and he has a touchdown to his name over that span as well. Somewhere in the neighborhood of a 4-50 line would be perfectly fine. There’s always the outside chance he snags a touchdown too.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Teddy Bridgewater (QB - DEN) is in the mix for Sunday night. The Broncos should be throwing more than usual while checking in as 10 point road underdogs. The Chiefs' defense is playing better, but they still allow the fourth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. Bridgewater is a respectable play through all formats.

Javonte Williams (RB - DEN) should see a three-down workload in this matchup. Game flow is not on his side, and Denver’s offensive line has some injury issues. Still, Williams is a fine pick on this single-game slate due to volume alone.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire (RB - KC) is questionable tonight. If he’s out, then Darrell Williams (RB - KC) enters the conversation through all formats. CEH is dealing with an illness, so there’s a scenario where he suits up but loses some reps to Williams. Keep that in mind for tournaments.

Noah Fant (TE - DEN) is an interesting pick in my opinion. He’s not too expensive, and Fant could be a beneficiary of Denver passing the ball more than usual tonight. Kansas City has given up the eighth-most fantasy points to tight ends this season.

Courtland Sutton (WR - DEN), Jerry Jeudy (WR - DEN), and Tim Patrick (WR - DEN) are all tournament picks in my opinion. It’s hard to bank on one of them even while expecting increased passing volume from the Broncos. It seems like Jeudy is the frontrunner of this group, but he’s also the most expensive.

How did we go this far in the article without mentioning Tyreek Hill (WR - KC)? He’s a strong tournament choice who is borderline cash playable. Hill has been more boom or bust this season, which is why I’m leaning towards Kelce over him in cash games. Mecole Hardman (WR - KC) is a tournament-only choice who will probably need a touchdown to return positive fantasy value.
