Report: Chase Young will not participate in NFL combine drills
NFL fans and team officials won’t get to see two projected top picks work out this week during the scouting combine in Indianapolis.
Ohio State defensive end Chase Young is not expected to participate in drills, according to the NFL Network.
From NFL Now: #OSU DE Chase Young is not planning to do drills at the NFL Scouting Combine, while it would be a surprise if #LSU QB Joe Burrow throws in Indy. He'll talk to reporters tomorrow and perhaps make his plans clear. pic.twitter.com/SSmfRPCoFO

Young is projected as the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NFL draft to the Washington Redskins. With nothing left to prove, he will instead focus on interviews with team officials during the combine. Young also will go through the medical exam.
He is expected to do position drills during Ohio State’s pro day. That date has not been announced, but is customarily in late March or early April.
Young won three national awards last season, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Ted Hendricks Award. He also was a Heisman Trophy finalist.
Joe Burrow reportedly will not throw in Indy
LSU quarterback Joe Burrow will meet with reporters on Tuesday and is expected to lay out his plan for the combine, which reportedly will not include throwing.
The consensus top draft pick already is making combine headlines for his “small” hands. There also have been reports that he doesn’t want to play for the Cincinnati Bengals and could pull an Eli Manning. With plenty of story lines already surrounding Burrow, a throwing drill would be the least exciting part of his combine experience.
Patriots’ retired coach to represent team
Dante Scarnecchia recently announced his second retirement as the New England Patriots’ offensive line coach. However, he will represent the team at the combine, according to NFL Network.
Dante Scarnecchia may have retired as the #Patriots offensive line coach but he will still be representing the team at the scouting combine. In his 1st retirement, Scar still scouted & worked out players for the team.
