FRANK SCHWAB: Welcome to Yahoo Sportsbook Daily It is October 11th 2021, and I'm your betting guy, Frank Schwab. We're going to preview the Colts Ravens Monday night Football game, but first some bad beats from this Football Weekend. Our NFL bad beats started right away with that early London game. Look if you had the Jets plus three, or the under 45, you really were not happy with a field goal decision the Jets made at the end on third down. Let's recap a little bit.

The Jets plus three basically drawing down the whole game, the Falcons go out to a big lead, but the Jets rally in the fourth quarter. They actually cut the lead to three points, at that point it's a push. The Falcons answer with a touchdown, but you still got a chance at that push of plus three. The Jets get into Falcons territory, and then they take a sack late in the game. Now, being down 10 points, smart football decision, kicked the field goal on third and long. We get why. You kick the field goal, you try to get the onside, but for bettors this was horrible. The Jets kicked the field goal. They end up losing by seven. You don't get the plus three, and that third down field goal also pushes it over. A double whammy for bad beats right there for bettors. Tough way to get your Sunday started.

And then I really hope you didn't chase that with the Cincinnati Bengals. Oh man, it looked like they had the chance to win at the end. The field goal misses, the Packers keep missing field goals. And then Evan McPherson, the Bengals kicker, kicks on what he thought was good. He started celebrating it in overtime, but it went wide left. He couldn't believe it. Nobody could believe it, especially if you're a Bengals bettor. The Bengals end up giving up the game winning field goal late in overtime. Mason Crosby finally redeems himself. Really bad time for Bengals bettors than that one. Thought you had it, and you didn't get it.

And that was nothing compared to the late game, the Cleveland Browns. You're plus 2 and 1/2, that game is back and forth with the Los Angeles Chargers, and at the end, [? also ?] [? tacklers ?] trying to go down. The Chargers are down one point. They want to bleed the clock, kick a field goal at the end of the game, and the Browns defenders will not let him go down. They drag him, push him, pull him into the end zone. The Chargers score the touchdown. They take the 5 Point lead instead of the two point lead. Browns bettors a plus 2 and 1/2, a terrible beat. How often are you going to lose a bet when the opponent drags a running back into the end zone? That's a tough one for Browns fans. Hopefully you didn't have that trifecta on your NFL Sunday, a trio of bad beats.

A really really bad beat on the college side though. If you had Texas plus 3 and 1/2, you felt good. Texas had a big lead early. That was a competitive game late. Oklahoma came back. They're tied late when Oklahoma gets into Texas territory. You're thinking, OK, maybe we go to overtime, but probably Oklahoma kicks a field goal, my plus 3 and 1/2 is good, and then somehow Oklahoma breaks a game winning walk off touchdown in the final second to win by seven. That is just crushing the Texas bettors that thought they had that bet one whole time, to lose on that kind of a run right at the end when they're just trying to get in position for a field goal. That is a really really rough beat on Saturday.

Let's move on to the Monday Night Football game where hopefully, you're not going to be taking any bad beats. I'm going to be on the Indianapolis Colts here 6 and 1/2 point underdogs. I liked the Colts coming into the season, and I think they turned a little bit of a corner last week. Looked pretty good. Look, the Miami Dolphins are not a great opponent, but the Indianapolis Colts did look good in that game. They do still have some injuries they're dealing with, but I think this is going to be a competitive game.

The Ravens have played a lot of close games already. You know, the kind of game they want to play. A lot of running, pretty close scores usually. I don't think the Ravens are going to be able to run away from the Colts. They're a really well-coached team, pretty solid on both sides of the ball. I just think it's too many points for the Colts. I think we're going to get a close Monday night game. We've had a ton of close prime time games already. I'm going to take the Colts 6 and 1/2. Also the under 46 and 1/2 is the way to go, because I think these two teams are going to want to keep it on the ground. Keep the clock running. I think we're going to see a really really competitive game from a desperate Colts team that really needs this win to keep pace with the Tennessee Titans in the AFC South.

A couple of problems for you I'm going to go over here. Even though I like the ground game in this game, I like it to be low scoring, but I just think that these two props are way too low. First of all, Marquez Brown, 55 and 1/2. Marquise Brown has been very very good this year. If you drafted him on your fantasy team, you know. And he's one of those guys able to hit 55 and 1/2. He could get half of that with one big play, 2/3 of that with one big play. He's a deep threat. I like taking the over on those guys, because they have a chance to just grind it out.

Marquise Brown could get you six catches for 60 yards, or you can get a couple of big ones early and you're cashing in that ticket before halftime. Really like Marquez Brown over 55 and 1/2. And another one on the other side, Michael Pittman, 52 and 1/2. I just think the number is too low here. Michael Pittman has been their number one receiver the last couple of weeks. Carson Wentz is looking healthier, he's looking Pittman's, way he's going to get him involved. I think Michael Pittman goes over this 52 and 1/2, you're going to be cashing that one, because he could have one of those six catch 60 games like I just talked about. He could grind it out. He's been a very good target for Carson Wentz lately, so over on both of those guys.

Let's recap for Monday Night Football. Colts plus 6 and 1/2. I like under 46 and 1/2, but I do like the over on a couple of receiver props. Over 55 and 1/2 yards for Marquez Brown. Over 52 and 1/2 yards for Michael Pittman Jr. of the Colts. This could be a really really good game on Monday Night Football. You're going to want some action on this one.
