Partially due to the viral videos of his rim-rattling dunks, Spartanburg County Day class of 2018 superstar Zion Williamson is already one of the biggest names in basketball.

So when Williamson, ranked the No. 2 overall prospect in his class by Rivals.com, speaks -- people tend to listen.

Williamson recently posted a new update to his blog that he's writing for USA Today High School Sports in which he talked about in-home visits with North Carolina and Duke, his new Kentucky offer and how he's proud of the South Carolina men's and women's basketball teams.

"I will definitely say that I was proud to see South Carolina’s run to the Final Four with me being from here," Williamson said. "Most people think that we’re just a football state, but with what Coach (Frank) Martin and Coach (Dawn) Staley were able to accomplish this year I think it shows that we’ve got great basketball in the state too.

"Coach Martin told me that, with a player like me, he feels confident that we could get back to where they were and even further if I were to come there."
