Another local product is staying home.
On Thursday, La Salle (OH) three-star tight end Josh Whyle ended his recruitment when he announced his commitment to nearby Cincinnati. Whyle chose the Bearcats over two dozen offers, including from Tennessee, Auburn, Louisville, TCU, West Virginia and Oregon.

Whyle becomes Cincinnati's third commitment in the 2017 class. He joins two-star defensive end Blake Blacevich, who committed March 25 and three-star athlete Ty Van Fossen, the Bearcats' first pledge, on March 1.
