Manchester United and Manchester City will take the unusual step of playing an English Premier League game on a Thursday evening in April.
The game was originally scheduled for February 26, but that was the date of the EFL Cup final in which United beat Southampton 3-2.
Premier League midweek fixtures would normally take place on a Tuesday or Wednesday but Sky, which had the game originally as a television fixture, is also showing rearranged fixtures for Chelsea against Southampton on Tuesday April 25 and Arsenal against Leicester City on Wednesday April 26.
United manager Jose Mourinho complained about United’s fixture pileup following the UEFA Europa League victory against FC Rostov at Old Trafford last Thursday, and now faces a gap of just three days between the derby and a home fixture against Swansea City on April 30.
