Western Illinois rolls past Grace Bible 77-43

MACOMB, Ill. (AP) -- Adam Link scored 18 points and Garret Covington added 15 with 11 rebounds and six assists as Western Illinois put away Grace Bible College 77-43 Saturday night.

The Leathernecks (4-4) broke an early 11-all tie with a 16-3 run sparked by seven points from Link, coasting to a 39-24 lead at the break. They held Grace Bible to just two points in the opening seven minutes of the second half, pushing their lead to 52-27 on a dunk by Link.

Link finished 8 of 9 on field goal attempts and Michael Ochereobia had 13 points and nine boards.

The Tigers, who are an affiliate of the National Christian College Athletic Association, shot just 29.1 percent from the field to Western Illinois' 51.7 percent and were outrebounded 45-29. They were paced by Cameron Cramer with 17 points and eight rebounds.
