Week 1 NFL TV schedule: AM features 10 games!

David Fucillo

The first week of NFL action features a top heavy schedule, with ten games in the AM session. We take a look at some of the more interesting matchups.

The 2014 NFL season officially got underway on Thursday, but today we get a full slate of matchups. The San Francisco 49ers do not kick off until 1:25 p.m. PT, but in the meantime, we've got ten games in the morning. If you have never used the NFL Red Zone channel, you're missing out, and I highly recommend you try it out. My life has never been the same since I started using it!

The AM schedule of games features several interesting matchups. The Saints travel to face the Falcons. Atlanta had a brutal 2013 season, so we'll see how they come out of the gates this year. I think they continue to stumble, but they can prove something with a strong showing against the Saints.

The only NFC West matchup of the morning slate features the Rams hosting the Vikings. The Rams are 3-point favorites, but I'm hearing a lot of people picking the Vikings in this one. The Rams defense is stout, but it all comes down to what that offense can do behind Shaun Hill.

Here is your full slate of 10 a.m. PT games. We'll be back with inactives 90 minutes before the 49ers game, and then the first open thread shortly before kickoff.

Saints @ Falcons
Vikings @ Rams
Browns @ Steelers
Jaguars @ Eagles
Raiders @ Jets
Bengals @ Ravens
Bills @ Bears
Washington @ Texans
Titans @ Chiefs
