Clint Lewis has been a Baylor Bears football fan for more than 20 years.

The young man, who was born with Down syndrome, volunteered as a manager for the team in 1995 and he’s been a member of the team’s equipment staff ever since. He’s led the Bears out of the tunnel, and he’s often found on the sidelines with the team during practices and games.

As a Bears fan, Lewis has practically done it all. But as a member of the team, Lewis had never experienced the thrill of throwing a Bears jersey on his back and playing out his football dreams, until Saturday.

Rocking the No. 40 for Baylor in Saturday afternoon’s spring game, Lewis lined up and took a handoff, immediately busting towards the end zone and bringing it all the way to the house for six.

Seeing programs using its (mostly) meaningless exhibition schedule to produce awesome moments such as this will never get old.
