An MRI taken on Golden State Warriors backup center Jermaine O'Neal revealed a bruised right knee and minor right groin strain, the team announced Monday.
O'Neal did not travel with the team for Monday night's game at the Utah Jazz. He is listed as day-to-day.
O'Neal left early in the fourth quarter of Saturday night's home game against the Jazz. He was initially diagnosed with a sprained right knee and strained right groin.
The 35-year-old is averaging 5.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this season.
