WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) -- Codi Miller-McIntyre's 20 points and Coron Williams' early perimeter shooting propelled Wake Forest to a 69-48 victory against Presbyterian on Friday night.

Wake Forest (3-0), which is more than halfway through a season-opening five-game homestand, is unbeaten through three games for the second time in four seasons under coach Jeff Bzdelik.

Williams finished with 18 points - 15 in the first half - and Devin Thomas had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Reggie Dillard scored 15 of his 20 points in the first half for Presbyterian (0-3).

Jordan Downing added 18 points. The rest of the team combined for 10 points.

Miller-McIntyre, a sophomore guard, has reached the 20-point mark in every game this season.

Williams connected on four first-half 3-pointers and another 18-foot jumper, helping the Demon Deacons to a 42-27 halftime edge.

Williams, a transfer from Robert Morris, hit 3-pointers on three consecutive possessions as the Demon Deacons stretched their edge to 21-11. He entered the game 0-for-7 from long range across the first two outings of the season.

Presbyterian had a better first-half shooting percentage than Wake Forest (39.3 percent to 38.9 percent) but was hurt by the Demon Deacons' 3-point shooting.

Wake Forest scored only two points in the game's last 6 1/2 minutes. The Demon Deacons shot 35.7 percent (20-of-56) for the game.

That was offset by a 46-29 rebounding advantage.

Presbyterian, with a starting lineup that included three freshmen, went 0-3 on a season-opening three-game road stretch.

The Blue Hose posted their only victory against an Atlantic Coast Conference team three seasons ago here against Wake Forest. With the loss, they dropped to 1-12 all-time against ACC opponents since joining the Division I level.
