Keep an eye on the injury situations for Boston’s Tuukka Rask and Toronto’s Frederik Andersen. If they aren’t ready to return for this week’s action then Anton Khudobin and/or Curtis McElhinney are options in the crease for spot starts or potential handcuffs. Nick Schmaltz is still available in 92% of Yahoo leagues. He has four assists in his last four games.

Brandon Dubinsky (CBJ) - C, LW - Owned in 34% of Yahoo leagues
Dubinsky has collected 20 points in the last 25 games, including eight points (two goals, six assists) in his past 11 outings. The Blue Jackets center has games against Buffalo, Carolina, Chicago and Washington, so there’s a good chance that his late-season scoring surge will continue. Dubinsky also sits ninth overall in the league with 222 hits.
Ondrej Palat (TBL) - LW - Owned in 33% of Yahoo leagues
Palat has found another gear recently as Tampa Bay battles to get into the playoffs. He has compiled 10 points in the last nine contests. Palat has two goals and eight helpers over that span, while skating on the top line with Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point. The Lightning have four games scheduled at home this coming week and Palat has registered 26 of his 42 points at Amalie Arena this campaign.
Mathieu Perreault (WPG) - C, LW - Owned in 28% of Yahoo leagues
Perreault’s ownership in most leagues is finally starting to pick up. He had been flying under the radar for far too long despite some great production. Perreault has three goals and five assists over a five-game point streak. He has amassed 20 points in the past 22 matches, which includes six multi-point performances. Perreault has benefited from his time with Mark Scheifele and you should take advantage too.
Elias Lindholm (CAR) - C, RW - Owned in 23% of Yahoo leagues
Lindholm has generated four goals and seven helpers during a 10-game point streak. He has earned 42 points in 63 matches this season, but 20 of those points have come in the last 24 games. Lindholm is finishing the season on a high note and he is looking like a strong sleeper candidate for next year. The Hurricanes and Nashville Predators are the only teams that play five times this coming week, so consider that when making your roster moves.
Andrej Sekera (EDM) - D - Owned in 18% of Yahoo leagues
Sekera has collected eight points, including seven helpers, in his past seven matches. He has chipped in three power-play points over that span and has two multi-point efforts in the last two games. He has been the most productive defender over the last 14 days and he has been credited with 29 blocks during that stretch.
Brayden Point (TBL) - C, RW - Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues
Point and Lindholm appeared on Waiver Wired last week, but they are both worth recommending again. Lindholm jumped from 10% to 23%, but Point only increased by 3% from a week ago. The Lightning pivot has picked up four goals and four assists in his past seven appearances. Point hasn’t attracted much attention in his rookie season outside of Tampa Bay, but he has been productive with 16 points in 23 games down the stretch. Tyler Johnson’s return doesn’t appear to be imminent, so Point will continue to get minutes on the top line.
Juuse Saros (NSH) - G - Owned in 6% of Yahoo leagues
Saros could start two games for the Predators this coming week. Nashville plays five times from Mar. 27-Apr. 2, including two back-to-back situations. The 21-year-old netminder has an 8-7-3 record this season with a 2.29 goals-against average and a .927 save percentage. Saros has wins against Boston and St. Louis this season, so those could be the teams he faces.
Ales Hemsky (DAL) - RW - Owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues
Hemsky missed most of the 2016-17 season after he had hip surgery in late October, but he is making up for lost time now. He returned to action earlier this month and has been playing alongside Jamie Benn. Hemsky has produced three goals and three assists in the last eight outings.
Magnus Paajarvi (STL) - LW, RW - Owned in 0% of Yahoo leagues
Paajarvi hasn’t had many opportunities with the Blues this season, but he has posted 11 points in 24 games. He has played especially well of late with four goals and six points in the last eight contests. Paajarvi has been skating on the second line with Patrik Berglund and David Perron. He could be someone to consider if you are looking for a player who is a bit more under the radar.
Brock Boeser (VAN) - RW - Owned in 0% of Yahoo leagues
Boeser wasn’t available to be picked up off waivers for his NHL debut on Saturday and that’s too bad because he was impressive. He had four shots, three hits and the game-winning goal in 12:44 of ice time against Minnesota. The 20-year-old college standout played with Bo Horvat and Sven Baertschi. Snatch him up if you are in a keeper league. He is also worth considering in other formats because he should get an opportunity to prove himself in the last eight games of the year for the Canucks.
