Vikings tackle DeMarcus Love suspended for four games

Minnesota Vikings offensive takcle DeMarcus Love has been punished by the NFL.

Love was suspended for four games without pay for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy.

Love is a 2011 sixth-round draft pick who hasn't played in a regular-season contest.

Love is allowed to practice and play in preseason games.

His suspension ends Sept. 30 after the Vikings' game against the Pittsburgh Steelers across the Atlantic Ocean in London.
