Other key performers for Orlando were Arron Afflalo with 15 points and 7 assists, Moe Harkless with 15 points and 9 rebounds, and Nikola Vucevic with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Josh Smith had another strong performance for Detroit in the loss, putting up 25 points on 11-19 shooting. He also added 12 rebounds. Brandon Jennings contributed 15 points and 10 assists and Andre Drummond finished with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
The Magic posted a sterling assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.64. This year, they are 1-2 when they exceed 2.50 in this metric. Conversely, the Pistons are 1-4 when allowing their opponents to achieve such a stellar ratio.
This drops Detroit (19-29) to 1-2 versus Orlando on the season.
