GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (AP) -- Brian Voelkel recorded a triple-double, 10 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists, in top-seeded Vermont's 77-60 victory over No. 8 New Hampshire on Saturday in the America East tournament quarterfinals.
His feat was a first in America East tournament history.
Vermont has now won 11 straight and 18 of its last 19 games.
New Hampshire (6-24) was paced by Patrick Konan with 19 points. Jordon Bronner had 14 and Daniel Dion 10. The Wildcats were eliminated by Vermont for the second straight year.
Vermont held a 21-5 advantage in second chance points after outrebounding New Hampshire 40-19. The Catamounts made 21 of 27 free throws, while New Hampshire made just 10 of 13.
The Catamounts will play again on Sunday in the semifinals.
