US volleyball beats Thailand in 5 sets

TOKYO (AP) -- Jordan Larson-Burbach had 23 points to lead the U.S. women's national volleyball team to a 13-25, 27-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-13 victory Saturday over Thailand at the FIVB Women's World Grand Champions Cup.

The U.S. improved to 3-1 in the six-team, round-robin tournament, while Thailand fell to 0-4.

Larson-Burbach totaled 21 kills and two blocks. Lauren Paolini added 16 points, with 14 kills and two blocks.

The Americans next face the Dominican Republic.
