UFC Returns to Germany on May 31 with Two Events Slated for the Same Date

The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Thursday announced its return to Germany.

The promotion will head to the O2 World Berlin Arena for UFC Fight Night 41 (aka UFC Fight Night Berlin) on May 31. It marks the UFC’s third event in Germany, but its first since UFC 122 in 2010 and it’s first in Berlin.

“We are incredibly excited to announce this event and it is fantastic news for the many UFC fans throughout Germany and the rest of Europe,” said Garry Cook, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of UFC EMEA, in announcing the event.

“We are delighted to be returning to Germany in May and visiting Berlin for the first time. Germany is one of the leading world superpowers in sport and to be able to host a UFC Fight Night to our passionate German fans will be an honor.”

UFC Fight Night 41 will be one of two events slated for May 31, as the promotion has also announced The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 3 Finale on the same date.

The promotion has yet to make any bout announcements for the Berlin fight card.
