UFC on Fox 4 Prelims TV Ratings Spur Further Growth for Fuel TV

UFC Programming Continues to Propel Fuel TV Growth With Strongest Ratings Ever

While the UFC on Fox 4: Shogun vs. Vera TV ratings for “Big Fox” remained fairly steady with May’s UFC on Fox 3, the three-hour preliminary block of fights on Fuel TV did record numbers.

The live UFC on Fox 4 preliminary bouts on Fuel TV drew and average audience of 194,000 viewers, according to MMAWeekly.com’s industry sources.

While that may not sound like a huge number, it was by far the best TV ratings that any preliminary bouts on Fuel TV have drawn. The next closest was 165,000 viewers for the TUF Live Finale in June.

The UFC preliminary bouts on FX, which are two-hour broadcasts leading up to pay-per-view events do quite a bit better, typically drawing over a million, but Fuel TV is a small action sports network that has shown tremendous growth due to its UFC programming. The UFC on Fox 4 preliminary bout TV ratings is just one more example of that.
