UCLA freshman Shabazz Muhammed reportedly will not require right shoulder injury after his shoulder on Wednesday in practice, but will be out 2-4 weeks.
Results of an MRI showed no structural damage, Coach Ben Howland told CBS Sports on Thursday.
It is unlikely Muhammed, who is considered the one of the top NBA picks if he left UCLA after this season, will be available for the Nov. 9 opener against Indiana State. Muhammed is also being investigated by the NCAA for dealings that may have jeopardized his amateur status.
