STANFORD, Calif. (AP) -- Linebacker Eric Kendricks has been released from the hospital after leaving No. 9 UCLA's 24-10 loss at No. 13 Stanford at halftime Saturday because of a kidney ailment.

Kendricks, who made nine tackles in the first half, was taken to Stanford Hospital. It was not clear what caused Kendricks' kidney issue.

UCLA coach Jim Mora only said that Kendricks' kidney passed initial tests and he was traveling back to Los Angeles with the team. The redshirt junior from Fresno entered the game leading UCLA with 47 tackles this season. He has one interception.
