Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki left Sunday's game against Arizona in the third inning with a strained shoulder.
The Rockies listed Tulowitzki's status as day-to-day and said he would be re-evaluated after the game.
Tulowitzki apparently was injured when he made contact with Diamondbacks catcher Miguel Montero on a play at the plate in the first inning.
Tulowitzki entered Sunday hitting .312 with six home runs and 22 RBIs.
