Troy stepping up to play LSU, Boise in 2017

The Troy Trojans are stepping up and will face two nonconference football powers in 2017.
The school announced on Friday it will play LSU and Boise State.
Multiple outlets reported that Troy will travel to Baton Rouge, La., on Sept. 30, 2017, to take on LSU at Tiger Stadium.
LSU and Troy have met two times with the Tigers prevailing 24-20 in 2004 and 40-31 in 2008.
Troy also announced a home-and-home series with Boise State in 2017.
