Trey Burke scored 30 points and registered 8 assists to help the Utah Jazz slip by the Orlando Magic, 86-82. Utah (7-21) picked up the win after falling to the Miami Heat on Monday.
Burke shot 12-20 (4-8 from three-point range) in an efficient offensive performance. Other top performers for Utah were Gordon Hayward with 15 points and 7 assists, Derrick Favors with 14 points and 11 rebounds, and Alec Burks with 13 points and 6 rebounds. On 5-12 shooting, including 3-7 from behind the arc, Jameer Nelson put up 17 points for Orlando in the loss. Nikola Vucevic added 14 points and 14 rebounds and Tobias Harris finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Orlando (8-18) could not get back-to-back victories after defeating Chicago on Monday.
Coming up, the Jazz battle the Atlanta Hawks, who are 14-12 on the season. The Magic meet the Sacramento Kings, currently sitting at 7-17 this year.
