You can now update your Christmas list, because according to a new article from Vogue, Courtney Love and Nasty Gal are releasing a holiday line and the whole theme is party clothes for Christmas. For those of us who grew up in the age of tattoo chokers, rapidly eroding mixtapes and angst accessorized by flannel, the first Courtney Love x Nasty Gal clothing line that was released in January 2016 provided a lovely stroll into nostalgic yet relevant fashion.
In her interview with Vogue, Love shared that the second line is meant to continue the grunge-influenced looks of the first line, but with a heavy holiday influence:
“This [collection] still has some nostalgia, but also has sort of Moulin Rouge fantasy pieces that are kind of over the top. You know, it’s for Christmas. Nasty Gal for Christmas.”
The latest line won’t be released until November 3rd, but you can sign up on the Nasty Gal website or download their app to get first dibs on the holiday line.
As we all hoped and expected, Love is keeping the prints bold for the collection.
And those sultry slip dresses here ’90s style is so known for.
We can’t wait for the full release of her new line after witnessing the glories of her winter 2016 collection.
Luckily, November 3rd will be here before we know it!
