NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Titans now have interviewed both of Cincinnati's coordinators in their search for a new coach.

The Titans confirmed Thursday they have finished interviewing Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer two days after interviewing Cincinnati offensive coordinator Jay Gruden. The Redskins introduced Gruden as their new coach Thursday.

The team's plane picked Zimmer up Thursday morning outside Cincinnati, and the plane left Nashville for Cincinnati just before 5 p.m. EST.

Zimmer has been Cincinnati's defensive coordinator since 2008, and his defense ranked No. 3 overall this season. He also was defensive coordinator at Atlanta in 2007 and also was defensive coordinator with the Dallas Cowboys. He interviewed with Miami and Tampa Bay in 2012 and with Cleveland in 2013.

The Titans now are one of four NFL teams still looking for a new coach after firing Mike Munchak after three seasons on Saturday. They also interviewed Baltimore offensive coordinator Jim Caldwell on Wednesday. San Diego offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt also reportedly set to interview with the Titans next.

This is only the team's second coaching search since leaving Texas for Tennessee in 1997, and the first conducted by general manager Ruston Webster. Tennessee went 7-9 this season extending a playoff drought to five straight years with the last postseason win back in January 2003.
