Minnesota Timberwolves small forward Chase Budinger rejoined the team Monday for light workouts at practice while he recovers from left knee surgery.
Budinger is still about a month away from appearing in a game. He had part of the meniscus in his knee removed.
Budinger took part in individual shooting drills after practice. He said afterward that he is week-to-week in his recovery.
After signing a three-year, $16 million contract in July, Budinger had a setback when he re-injured the knee.
He averaged 9.4 points in 23 games last season before the injury.
