The Chicago Bears announced Monday that they placed cornerback Charles Tillman on injured reserve with a triceps injury and quarterback Jay Cutler is week-to-week with a high ankle sprain.
Tillman will miss eight weeks, meaning he is out for the regular season. He will not be eligible to return until the divisional round of the playoffs, if the Bears qualify.
Cutler injured his left ankle in Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions. He just returned from a groin injury sustained on Oct. 20 against the Washington Redskins.
Josh McCown will start for the Bears on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. He completed 42 of 70 passes for 538 yards, four touchdowns and a passer rating of 103.1 in three starts in place of Cutler.
