Third annual EPT camp set

Wes Mitchell,
Gamecock Central

The third annual EPT Football Skills Showcase, which has featured many of the state's best prospects, is set for May 21 at Ridge View High School.

Elite Position Training, the brainchild of quarterback guru Ramon Robinson, provides mentoring to student-athletes in the state of South Carolina for their needs both on and off the field.

Class of 2017 South Carolina signees QB Jay Urich and WR OrTre Smith both participated in last year's EPT Showcase at Newberry.

The EPT football academy features Robinson as quarterbacks coach, wide receivers coach Bobby McGowens, defensive backs coach ChaChi Sullivan and defensive line coach Rashaad Jackson.

At the EPT Showcase, athletes will be coached up by those four as well as other top coaches in the area as they show off their skills to the media in attendance.

Athletes who wish to participate can fill out the form at this link.
