Ewing makes his case to become a head coach in the NBA, an opportunity he’s been pursuing for 13 years on the coaching staffs of Doug Collins, Jeff and Stan Van Gundy, and Steve Clifford.

From Ewing’s move from Jamaica into the racial unrest of Boston at 11 years old, to enduring the taunts and epithets that accompanied his meteoric rise to stardom in high school, to his first pickup game with Michael Jordan on a recruiting trip to the University of North Carolina that couldn’t persuade him to turn down Georgetown’s offer, Ewing goes into tremendous depth about one of the game’s most public and scrutinized basketball lives.

Ewing discusses his New York Knicks career, the 1994 NBA Finals loss to the Houston Rockets and goes into detail on why he pushed for a trade at the end of his Knicks career – and how he feels about that decision now.
