Terrelle Pryor takes the high road when Janoris Jenkins attacks him via Twitter

Apparently being part of the New York Giants’ win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday wasn’t enough for cornerback Janoris Jenkins.

Because he decided to tweet – twice – that Browns’ playmaker Terrelle Pryor eats, well, feces.

Though he has since deleted the missives (but screengrabs live forever), Jenkins apparently is not a fan of Pryor. Or grammar.

But Pryor, the college quarterback-turned-NFL receiver, took the high road – twice – when he saw what Jenkins had written to him:

Pryor averaged over 20 yards per catch against the Giants, with six receptions for 131 yards, though one Pro Football Focus writer tweeted that only one of those catches, for 14 yards, came with Jenkins covering him.

But Jenkins’ issue with Pryor, whatever it is, began before the Browns and Giants took the field; last week, when 5-foot-10 Jenkins was asked if it would be a challenge to cover 6-foot-4 Pryor, Jenkins said “no.”

“He’s another receiver. He’s just big,” Jenkins said.

As the Browns have started three quarterbacks and had seven players attempt passes (five quarterbacks plus Pryor and running back Duke Johnson), Pryor has been one of the few bright spots on offense. He now has 62 catches for 855 yards and four touchdowns, all tops on the team.
