UCLA will be the only No. 1 seed in the women's NCAA national semifinals Monday. After the Bruins downed Cal 4-1, they advanced to meet another familiar foe.
UCLA (25-2) meets Southern Cal (24-3) Monday at 1 p.m. at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga. It will be the fourth meeting this year between the programs.
Florida's 4-0 win over Miami (Fla.) pushed the Gators (25-1) into the other semifinal and a meeting with Duke. The Blue Devils beat Georgia 4-2 in Saturday's final match.
Florida cruised through four tournament matches, beating South Carolina State (4-0), Washington State (6-0) and Michigan (4-0) before downing the Hurricanes. UF has won 20 straight matches.
USC upset Stanford, 4-2, Saturday to avenge an earlier loss to the Cardinal. It was the Trojans' first NCAA tournament win over Stanford since 1983. The Trojans lost to Miami in the semifinals in 2006.
Pac-12 conference teams have won 19 of the past 30 national titles.
