Samad Kadiri is happy after his first season at Sunshine Stars and is hoping to build on that in the next campaign.
The former Bayelsa United forward impressed in his first campaign in the colours of the Owena Waves.
"I don't know if it was the best of my campaign as a professional on a personal level. I've improved as a striker, but the objective is always to get better," Kadiri told Goal.
"I've been here and seen off many challenges. I want to continue the form of last season, even if I know that it will be difficult.
"We fell short of qualifying to play continental football. It shows how competitive the league is. We will be back to claim what belongs to us next term.
"Better day lies ahead of us if we can be united and focused."
