Suh donates $250,000 to his high school

It is easy to beat up on Ndamukong Suh when he is driving recklessly, wrecking cars and stomping on opponents.

But the Detroit Lions defensive tackle has also shown a generous side and that cannot be overlooked. In his latest effort, Suh has donated $250,000 to Grant High School in Portland, his former high school. The money will be used to install a synthetic turf field, according to the Oregonian.

It’s not the first big gift from Suh. He donated $2.6 million to the University of Nebraska and in 2011 he was named the most charitable athlete in the nation by The Giving Back Fund, according to Per the report, Suh has also been involved with a pediatric brain cancer foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
