Defensive tackle Marcus Stroud retired as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars on Wednesday.
Stroud was the 13th overall pick in the 2001 and formed a fearsome defensive tackle duo with John Henderson in Jacksonville. Stroud was traded to the Buffalo Bills in 2008 after three Pro Bowl selections.
Stroud hasn't played in the NFL since 2010. He was released by the Bills at the end of that season and signed with the Patriots only to be let go before the start of training camp last summer.
