NACODOCHES, Texas (AP) -- Taylor Smith and Deshaunt Walker led a balanced scoring effort with 10 points apiece and Stephen F. Austin rolled to a 79-43 victory over Lamar on Thursday night.
Stephen F. Austin (11-1, 2-0 Southland) forced 29 turnovers on the way to winning its sixth in a row, the largest margin of victory over a Division I team this season.
It took less than eight minutes for Stephen F. Austin to open up an 18-6 lead, and it did not allow Lamar 2-11, 0-1) into double figures until the 9:35 mark.
