The Pittsburgh Steelers signed offensive lineman D'Anthony Batiste to a one-year contract, the team announced Saturday.
Batiste, 31, played in 12 games for the Arizona Cardinals last year, including 10 starts.
For his career, he has appeared in 37 games with 14 starts for the Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Redskins, Denver Broncos and Cardinals.
The Steelers placed rookie guard Nik Embernate on the waived/injured list to make room for Batiste on the roster. Embernate is recovering from a torn ACL and MCL.
