Steelers get down to 75 players

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Sunday they made 15 roster moves to get down to 75 players.
The Steelers placed linebacker Sean Spence on the Physically Unable To Perform list. He suffered a severe knee injury prior to last season.
The team also put offensive guard Justin Cheadle (knee) and cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke (hamstring) on the Waived/Injured List.
The team released 11 players: offensive tackle D'Anthony Batiste, running back Baron Batch, offensive tackle Mike Farrell, wide receiver David Gilreath, wide receiver Tyler Shaw, cornerback Ryan Steed, linebacker Stevenson Sylvester, tight end Peter Tuitupou, quarterback John Parker Wilson, wide receiver J.D. Woods and running back Jeremy Wright.
Finally, the Steelers placed rookie defensive end Nick Williams on the Reserve/Injured List with a knee injury.
Teams need to get their roster down to 75 players by Tuesday.
