NEW YORK (AP) -- St. John's freshman guard Rysheed Jordan has been reinstated after a one-game suspension.

St. John's coach Steve Lavin made the announcement on Tuesday. Jordan, who missed Friday's 64-54 victory over Monmouth for an undisclosed violation of team rules, will play Tuesday night against Longwood.

Jordan, a highly rated high school star from Philadelphia, is averaging 4.3 points and 2.3 assists in 18.3 minutes in three games for the Red Storm (3-1).
