St. Francis' last-second 3 tops Lafayette 65-62

NEW YORK (AP) -- Aleksandar Isailovic banked in a 3-pointer from the left wing with 0.7 seconds remaining Thursday night to lift St. Francis Brooklyn over Lafayette 65-62.

Brent Jones drove the lane with six seconds to go and dished it out the Isailovic for the game-winner.

St. Francis (7-5) trailed 34-30 at the intermission but opened the second half with the first nine points and continued on an 18-4 run to go ahead 48-38.

Jalen Cannon led the Terriers with 19 points and nine rebounds.

Lafayette (4-6) battled back to within one possession for the first time with 1:02 to go. The Leopards made a key defensive stop and advanced the ball past half court for a timeout with 22 seconds left. On the following inbounds, Bryce Scott came free around a screen and tied the game with a baseline 3-pointer.

Scott had 22 points in the first half and finished with 35.
