Jordan Farmar signs with Grizzlies
Free-agent guard Jordan Farmar has signed with the Memphis Grizzlies.

Farmar will join the Grizzlies this week as the team parts with guard Briante Weber of the NBA D-League's Sioux Falls. Memphis (40-30) has been depleted by injuries and has used injury exceptions to sign its current point guards, Ray McCallum and Xavier Munford.
Farmar, 29, worked out for the Grizzlies on Thursday. He had played for Maccabi Tel Aviv this season before being let go.
Farmar won two NBA championships as a backup point guard with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2009 and '10. In eight NBA seasons, Farmar has averaged 7.7 points and 2.9 assists with the Lakers, Nets and Clippers.
