The Utah Jazz will sign guard Erick Green of the Reno Bighorns to a 10-day contract, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Green will join the Jazz on Tuesday and undergo a physical exam and should provide backcourt depth and scoring. Point guard Raul Neto, a rookie starter for Utah, suffered a concussion during Monday's loss to Detroit and was placed under the NBA's concussion protocol.

Green, 24, averaged 26.7 points, 4.4 assists and 4.4 rebounds this season for Reno of the NBA Development League.

Green was acquired by the Denver Nuggets in a draft night trade with the Jazz in 2013. He was selected with the 46th selection overall after spending four seasons at Virginia Tech.

Green joined the Nuggets on a rookie contract in 2014 and averaged 3.4 points in 46 games. He also played three games with the Nuggets in 2015.

Utah is 19-25 and one game out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
