Miami Heat guard Beno Udrih will undergo season-ending surgery on his right foot, league sources told The Vertical.
Udrih underwent an MRI on Tuesday. He is the second Heat guard to be lost for the season, joining Tyler Johnson, who had shoulder surgery earlier this month.
Udrih, 33, has served as the Heat's primary backup to Goran Dragic. He averaged 4.4 points and 2.5 assists per game this season.
In 12 NBA seasons with San Antonio, Sacramento, Milwaukee, Orlando, New York, Memphis and Miami, Udrih has averaged 8.5 points and 3.4 assists.
