Anthony, 32, will be playing in his fourth Olympics and moving toward becoming one of the most decorated players in USA Basketball history.

Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry will also join Team USA this summer too, league source told The Vertical. Portland guard Damian Lillard has decided not to play as he rehabs from plantar fasciitis, sources told The Vertical’s Shams Charania.

Anthony gives Team USA the commitment of an accomplished national team player, a scoring forward who has traditionally been a matchup nightmare for international defenses.

Anthony was a part of the 2004 bronze medal-winning team and earned gold in 2008 and 2012.
