Sixers acquire Aldemir, White from Rockets

The Philadelphia 76ers announced Saturday that they acquired the rights to center/forward Furkan Aldemir of Turkey, forward Royce White and additional consideration from the Houston Rockets for future draft considerations.
Aldemir, 21, was taken 53rd overall pick by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2012 draft. His rights were then traded to the Rockets as part of a four-team deal that also involved the Dallas Mavericks and Utah Jazz.
Aldemir averaged 5.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game while shooting 69 percent from the field in 40 Turkish Basketball League games last season.
White, 22, was selected No. 16 overall by the Rockets in the 2012 draft. He averaged 11.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.8 blocks in 25.6 minutes per game last season for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA Development League.
