Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III was knocked out of Sunday's game with a mild concussion, coach Mike Shanahan said.
Griffin III didn't know what the score was or what quarter the game was in when he was taken to the locker room, Shanahan said.
Griffin was relieved by rookie Kurt Cousins, who threw a 77-yard touchdown pass to Santana Moss but was intercepted late in the fourth quarter to curb a comeback bid.
The team said Griffin will be re-evaluatedon Monday before it determines his playing status, but less than three hours after the game ended, Griffin tweeted, "Thank you for all the prayers & support I'm ok and I think after all the testing I will play next week."
